SUMMARY:CRC/SFB 1270 ELAINE Symposium: “Modulating Brain Networks: Mechanisms, Models & Medical Translation”
LOCATION:Oscar-Langendorff-Institut für Physiologie
DESCRIPTION:The CRC/SFB 1270 ELAINE and IRTG warmly invite researchers, clinicians, eng
ineers and early-career scientists to the symposium “Modulating Brain Netwo
rks: Mechanisms, Models & Medical Translation”.\nThe meeting will explo
re how brain networks can be understood, modelled and therapeutically modul
ated across scales and disease contexts. Topics include electrophysiologica
l biomarkers, adaptive DBS, translational micro-implants, disease-model net
work endpoints, synucleinopathy, epilepsy and SUDEP, stroke connectomics, G
ABAergic and interneuron mechanisms, computational DBS modelling, and perso
nalised closed-loop therapy.\nThe symposium aims to foster interdisciplinar
y exchange between experimental neuroscience, clinical neurology, neurophys
iology, neuroengineering, computational modelling and translational medicin
e.\nThe meeting is free of charge; virtual participation is also possible.\
